Andre 3000 & Norah Jones |Take Off Your Cool
Baby take off your cool…I want to see you…
Corinne Bailey Rae |I Would Like To Call It Beauty
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness. |John Keats, Endymion
(via pauliejuice)
Drake |Take Care (Feat. Rihanna)
If you let me, here’s what i’ll do…I’ll take care of you…
Lauryn Hill |Nothing Even Matters (Feat. D’Angelo)
You’re part of my identity
I sometimes have the tendency
To look at you religiously
—
You see, nothing even matters
At all
To me
John Mayer |Not Myself
Suppose I said..colors change for no good reason
Words will go from poetry into prose
Would you want me when I’m not myself
Waiting now while I am someone else
And I…In time…come around
I always do for you
Sade |Be That Easy
Full of air
Sun on my face
Wind in my hair
Falling down
Flying as slow as I can
I’m not trying to reach the land
Just falling somewhere—
As you may or may not know, I simply adore Sade and all of her, just as equally, lovely music. She is just unreasonably amazing. In particular, with this song, from her latest album, Solider of Love, I find my soul rest at ease with each listening. I cannot explain it any better than that, but this song just speaks to me. Sade, is forever loved in my heart.
Chris Brown |Wait For You
As long as I got you here right next to me…

I must admit, other than the fact that I’ve always been a Chris Brown fan despite his major and minor mishaps, his latest album, Fortune, is actually really good (in my humble opinion). In fact, the last album(s) of his that I appreciated this much was his very first and Exclusive. After those, I didn’t care too much (though I supported and still listened). Nonetheless, I was deeply surprised at how much I’d actually really enjoy this album.
Note: It will always remain for me that his best songs are definitely the real R&B-type songs about the hopes of love and whatnot. Those other explicit songs, are just not as good, even despite his voice. Either way, majority of his current album is definitely worth the listen.
